Carrier & Sandstedt has been distributing fiberglass reinforced plastic products to our customers in Chicago, greater Illinois, Wisconsin, northern Indiana, southern Michigan areas and large national manufacturers and OEM’s for over 40 years, and this is exemplified by the wide range of Dynaform® structural shapes that we carry. These pultruded structural components include channels, beams, angles, bars, rods, concrete embedment angles, toe plates, flat sheets, thread rods and nuts. Carrier & Sandstedt carries multiple product lines of Fibergrate’s Stair Treads. These stair solutions provide a variety of slip resistant covers and treads for the maintenance of existing stairs and the construction of new stairs. For both residential and commercial applications, our stair tread solutions include Stair Tread Covers for existing stairs, Covered Stair Treads to replace concrete treads, Fibertred® for easy field fabrication, and Safe-T-Span® Pultruded Treads for applications where wider support spans are required. With our wide variety of options for treaded stair construction and for existing steps, Carrier & Sandstedt is sure to have a solution for your stair tread needs.
Accessories / Complementary Products
Carrier & Sandstedt continues its proud tradition of carrying advanced fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) products for many customers in the Midwest. This is well demonstrated by the accessories and complementary products offered by Fibergrate. For instance, we have clips that are specially designed to fasten and secure grating panels, grating pedestals to provide sturdy support of square mesh molded grating, sealing/bonding kits to seal grating cuts or penetrations, and grating rubber feat that raise molded grating out of fluids or chips on the floor. We also offer FRP hardware that is non-conductive and corrosion resistant.
Dynarail Ladder Products
Fibergrate’s Dynarail ladders and cage systems are innovative safety products that we are proud to carry here at Carrier & Sandstedt’s Illinois office. These products meet or exceed OSHA requirements, and are fire retardant and non-conductive. They come fully fabricated in kit form. The safety cage is ready for assembly at installation sites, with pre-drilled hoops for fast and easy attachment to the ladder and vertical safety bars. Ladders are stocked in a wide variety of standard heights: 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, and 24 feet. Splice kits are also available if taller heights are needed. For innovative, on-site safety products that are easy-to-install, Fibergrate’s ladder and cage products deliver solutions that meet the highest industrial standards.
